The Jam Making Movie
It must be a couple of weeks ago that Martine made some jam but you cannot rush the [wikipop]post production[/wikipop] process….
Tasty! And the jam was quite nice too 😉
The music is… Best Batch Yet (but not the [wikipop]Doc at the Radar Station[/wikipop] one) by [wikipop]Captain Beefheart[/wikipop] and (mostly) The Magic Band.
A trip to Oxford
As we both had a day off, a rare coincidence, we went to the station…

and caught the first train that turned up; which took us to [W:Oxford].
We went for lunch at the Pieminister place in the covered market…

After which we explored the cavernous Blackwell’s book shop and then the Museum of the History of Science with its splendid lighting on the stairs…

but when we came out it was pouring with rain so we had a hot chocolate…

headed back to the station…

and home.
Dug
The patch of garden sometimes euphemistically known as the vegetable plot has been abandoned since the flood three years ago. Somewhat overgrown it was broken up and turned over and then cleared and levelled and is now returning to a usable state…

The digging did turn up the usual bits of broken china, glass and slate; and a goddess of the earth appeared blinking in the sunlight….
They never turn up stuff like this on [W:Time Team].
Cheese Bread Experiment
The experimental cheese bread was not entirely successful in one way but has all been eaten so was entirely successful in a way. Stronger cheese incorporated earlier will probably improve it.
A second loaf was required for those that do not enjoy the cheese as much as others.
